Todd Cochrane of Geek News Central gets our CES channels fired up with a primer of what is to come in the coverage department from the 20 team members of the Tech Podcast Network who start preparing to head to Vegas in a couple of days.
I’m Todd Cochane of Geek News Central. I am also the CEO of RawVoice the parent company of TPN.tv and the Tech Podcast Network. This will be my 9th year covering International CES and as always I am excited to be at the show. Take a few minutes and watch the video to get some background on me and the team that will be coming to cover CES.
The Frag Dolls are a team of professional female gamers recruited by Ubisoft to promote their video games and represent the presence of women in the game industry. We were able to catch up with three of the ladies, Valkryie, Pixxel and Daze, at the Lenovo and Social Media Club party, where they were in attendance to show off a new partnership between Lenovo and Ubisoft. Plus, all parties need some eye-candy, right?
We sat down and discussed a range of topics from how the girls all ended up with the Frag Dolls, best experiences at conventions and what’s in-store for the all-girl FPS team in the future. You won’t want to miss this one!
Another product we saw on the Back Channel was the Ion iCade Jr. The little brother to the iCade, you slip in your iPhone and play games using the Bluetooth joystick. There are additional buttons on the back, so you can hold the iCade Jr.

We also saw the Piano Apprentice – Plug your ipad into the keyboard. With the app, you can learn how to play piano Price: $99
In this backchannel video, we look at the line coming into CES Unveiled. Jeffrey then enters into the hall and walks around CES Unveiled right before the masses enter.
