We’ve interviewed Vamshi Sriperumbudur last year and learned about Dyyno. This year they came back to show us what has changed and what they offer video broadcasters.
Dyyno does video streaming;they offer tools from video creation through delivery and promotion.
We learn about “dUb”, Dyyno Universal Broadcaster, which allows the broadcaster to broadcast nearly anything. Basically, if you can see it on your computer screen, then you can broadcast it, whether it’s a full-screen game or an application such as Powerpoint.
To make this more useful to video broadcasters, dUb has been integrated with theGeniatech range of video capture devices; EZ Grabber, EZ Grabber 2.0 and HD Cap Express. Over a million of these have been sold which makes them some of the more widely used video capture devices.
The basic package of EZ Grabber and dUb costs just $30 to get started with 50 hours per month and upgrade packages for more hours are available.
The competition to win an EZ Grabber in this video is already finished, we gave the units away during the live coverage.

Application stores are popping up left and right. But do we have any that are Child-safe? Bloomworlds is just that – for the Android Environment.
Parents can find applications on BloomWorlds that are appropriate for their child’s Android device. This site is still being worked on, but the idea is parents review applications, then write testimonials to let other parents know how safe it is.
For developers, Bloomworlds will offer several revenue options, just like the 70/30 option the Apple Store offers.
Taser was back at CES 2011 to show people how to use the product and protect their families. They are also showing some other great products.
During the interview, Carissa is going to taser the “Bad guy” in the protective booth. Basically, you load up the cartridge, slide back the lever and a laser becomes active. Point, shoot and set down to make you and your family safe.
Taser guns are available starting at $379. They also have training for use, so you don’t get hurt in trying to make your family safe.
Check out the new Ford Focus Electric. This vehicle is due out in late 2011. The biggest feature of course is that its driven by batteries. The dashb0ard is showing all kinds of information but what caught my eye was the flying butterflies. Sean from Ford was very kind to take over the microphone and give is the grand tour of the new features of the new Ford Focus.
The price is not set yet but one reason, which allows Ford to keep prices down is the fact that they have found a way to use the same production line for all their Ford vehicles. One production line for any type of Ford whether it be electric or something else.
Panavise is a company with many different products but I was mostly interested in their mobile mounts. They have suction cup mounts that means business. Forget the mounts for your car you get when buying a GPS device. These mounts really takes care of business. They have a special mechanism to increase the vacuum pressure that makes them stick to a surface like nothing else.
If you want to record videos on the go this is what you’re looking for. You can find out more on their web page: http://www.panavise.com
